In 1997 Mr. and Mrs. Kappikere with the help of Mr. and Mrs. George came together to establish St. Johns Education Society in Udgir, Maharashtra. It was a humble and honest beginning with a strong determination to provide the quality education to the children of Udgir.
Today, The Times Public School, Udgir is a pioneer in education, The School which originally has grown in strength and today has more than 900 students and 50+ teachers on rolls.
 Education at TPS is a blend of modern education with traditional values imparted. Students reflect this multi dimensional culture and tradition. 
One can see a strong bond between the Student and Teacher, and Student and School. 
TPS focuses on all-round development of the student with equal importance accorded to Academics and extra-curricular Activities.
Now in the era of internet education this website is an attempt from the school management to provide a new medium of learning for the children and also a new medium of communication for the parents to interact with teachers and school management online.
